Are you stuck on what to wear on the the plane? It’s November and its the beginning stages of winter, which means its time to start layering up! I live in sunny Florida, and I actually travel to cold places during the winter, just for the season change! Yes I know that sounds crazy to actually travel to the cold but I love it! There’s something about wrapping up in warm sweaters that soothes my soul! This month I’m prepping for a trip to New York, so i’ve Been stocking up on my winter attire. I put together a look for the plane that i‘m definitely going to rock!
What should I wear on the plane?
Take a look at my styled look for your next November airplane trip.
A comfortable lightweight coat
Depending on the whether, you many want to wear something with much more warmth. However if you want to look chic , I recommend layering up instead. When you are on the plane it usually gets freezing and you have to pull out a blanket to keep warm! However in this outfit you can slip your coat on, or off to adjust. This way you can still have the freedom to move your arms, and tap away at your phone/tablet. (Work never stops hunni)
A chunky knit sweater
Layering is key and this is the must have layer! When I go on a plane I like to wear simple neutral colours. Sometimes i’ll slip in a colour for the season, but I tend to stick with cream to grey.
Stretchy pants for ultimate comfort
When travelling, its important towear comfortable pants. I’ll take an elastic pant over jeans any day! Especially when you’re going to be on the plane for a long time. Pants always look classy no matter what you pair with it, and jeans can get uncomfortble after a few hours!
Slip on shoes
AIRPORT SECURITY, Enough said. If you are travelling on multiple planes, wearing slip on shoes is a lifesaver. You can get through TSA in a breeze, and your feet will also thank you while breathing on the plane.Ps. Don’t forget your socks, airport floors rarely get cleaned!
A Mary poppins tote bag
I call it a Mary poppins bag because us women magically fit our entire makeup collection; extra shoes , and probably a pillow in there and you would never know. This truly depends on your personality, but I must have a tote bag when I’m travelling. A tote bag is big enough to carry your essentials, and its small enough to fit under the seat. My iPad Pro goes with me everywhere so I need to be able to whip it out without the drama of an overhead bin!
What’s your signature style for the plane? I’m always dressed smart casual, and love to mix chunky knits with dress pants. Take a look at my favourite store SHEIN and grab your november airplane look .
