Have you ever wandered How to set and achieve your goals this year? I mean actually achieve them. Goal setting is one thing, but what do you have to do to make them come into fruition? There are a few SIMPLE EASY steps you can take to make your dream goal a reality. In todays healthy living video, I’m going to be giving you my top tips to smart goal setting. Using my own health goals as an example. This video also gives some motivational quotes to help aid your resolutions this year!
How to set and achieve goals in 2019
The very first step, before you can do anything, is to figure out what you want to achieve.

It’s highly important to narrow down your goal time to just this year. your goals will be far more achievable if you have a realistic time frame.
Ask yourself why do you want this goal? and How will it benefit you?
Prioritize your main goal to avoid feeling overwhelmed. you want to make sure your goal aligns with who you want to be.
Break your goal down into smaller sections. Start with a main goal for example I WANT TO BE HEALTHIER. This can break down to Having a healthy body , or Having a healthy mind. From here i can break the healthy body down to Exercising more or eating better. The breakdown can continue until you have easy daily achievable goals.
Doing this will give yourself wiggle room to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Finally you are ready to take your first step!
How to Achieve Your Goals
Start by resetting your life with a Dopamine detox. You can do this by eliminating anything that heavily stimulates you for a full 24 hours. This could be social media , or gaming, it’s really your choice. Once you have done this it will allow your body to value and appreciate the next dose of joy far more.
Declutter all your junk. Clean your house, your room , office, & desk. You can even declutter the junky people in your life bringing you down. It’s time to wipe the slate clean so you can begin great new things.
Make sure everything in your life has a reason to be there!
Finally to figure out how to set and achieve goals, write a list of everything in your life holding you back. Then write a list of things you are going to replace these with. You can do this be creating a life board or a vision board!
