We all want to create success, and yet we all struggle with self confidence sometimes. As an adolescent I used to spend so much time worrying about how others would perceive me, that my self confidence dropped day by day. It wasn’t until I started finding ways to enjoy my experiences, that I found myself along the way. Singing, writing and performing was my escape, and a way to step out of my comfort zone. These small experiences are what allowed me to create success in life later on.

In a digital age, there is no reason why you cant get a major motivational boost every morning. Part of my Morning routine is to listen to Podcasts and i’ve been loving the SHE PODCAST. It’s full of interviews with amazing women entrepreneurs, simply killing it in every industry!
Podcasts are super easy to digest; and you can have it playing while you’re working out or folding laundry. They are extremely accessible, from Spotify to Apple music, it’s truly a godsend!
Youtube is a great place to start if you are more of a visual person. My favorite personal development YouTuber is Lavandaire. She has a way of bringing you into her world and motivating you actually to do the things you were “planning on doing”.
I know we’re in 2019 and most people prefer the internet over a classic paperback. Yet there is something refreshing and more digest-able when it comes to a book. Take some time to go through the self help or personal development section at your local bookstore. Alternatively you can search on Amazon if your’e too busy to get there.
According to a study at the University of Sussex , the ability to be fully immersed and distracted is what makes reading the perfect way to relieve stress.
That sounds like a double win to me. Not only will you be reading motivational content, but you will also be taking part in some major self care stress relief!
Time to connect on the net
As an introverted extrovert, I don’t find myself at many networking events; or any event’s at all. Yet I truly crave the presence of others all the time. The crazy part is, if I was put in the situation where I need to publicly speak, network or motivate, I would truly thrive!
My compromise to all this is to connect with people from afar, aka the internet! Social networking is a part of our every day lives now and not many people take advantage of its’ benefits!
Facebook groups are a fantastic place to find a group of like minded people who you can bounce ideas, share stories with and more.
Instagram is amazing for networking, it’s visual, and allows you to feel like you are truly connecting with an actual person. Next time you’re on the gram, drop a positive comment on someone who inspires you in your niche. They more than likely will reply, and it will start a up a conversation!

Essentially what this means is by practicing and completing small tasks, you are creating small wins! Knowing you can achieve these goals is a great way to boost your confidence and basically stroke your ego.
It literally does not matter, how small the win is as long as you acknowledge that you did it! Once you get used to the idea of feeling success, that positive outlook will spill over into other areas of your life.
Take some time to reward yourself after your win. This could be with a trip to that movie you always wanted to see, a trip to the nail salon, or even just simply making your favorite guilty dish! The choice is yours!
