HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Her Luxe Travels is officially into month 4, where has the time gone? My goal on this blog is to teach you how to live organized and how to plan(ner). This year i’m revamping my old Kate Spade planner because the durability can last a lifetime! Plus i’m not quite over my rose gold/blush pink phase just yet. Over the past few months I’ve been picking up a few bits and bobs to make sure my planner is reaching it’s full potential this year. Also I decided to change my weekly spread layout, hopefully to become a tad more productive this year! Here is my 2018 planner and all the goodness i’m using along with it.
My 2018 planner and Travel Journal
Im currently using this planner and have been for a few years now. As a graphic designer I feel like it’s important for me to be creative with my planner and my daily life. If I simply kept my 2018 planner pages black and white , I wouldn’t feel like it’s a true representation of me. These are the inserts i’ll be using this year, and i’m liking the layout so far . I love using my planner as bullet journal too and created my own bullet journal pages.
How to make your own bullet journal personal planner pages
- Grab these plain white personal sized paper inserts for your planner
- Download this bullet journal paper template
- Download this Microsoft word template by picking your planner size
- Place the pdf file into your template and place your paper in the printer
- Print however many you need , then flip the paper and print again!
I loved that the planner inserts started a week early, so it allowed me to get a feel of the week on one page. I’m still getting used to it and as you can see it’s a little messy! I made the mistake of using my PRO markers on large sections without thinking about the other side bleed! So for week two I stuck in a blank sheet from my Kikki.k note paper.
My 2018 Planner accessories
I love finding random planner stickers from here , here and here. If you have a little dig through the planner section online or in store you will find some really cool items! Postcards are a great way to boost the vibrancy in your planner and I usually add one per month.
